The Temazcal Ceremony takes place while the sun sets. This ritual begins with volcanic stones left on a fire for hours, serving as the source of heat for the temazcal. Medicinal herbs fumes rise when the water is poured onto the stones, a halo of mysticism fills in the womb and this is when the transformation begins.
